Congratulations to our Board member Clayton Henry who has recently completed the 96km hot and humid Kokoda Trail raising $1,439 for MotoAid!
These funds will go towards helping to train health workers in motorbike safety and maintenance in Timor-Leste.
This will allow doctors and nurses to provide healthcare in the remote areas of Timor-Leste. Thank you Clayton!
Mothers Milk generously donated this great space for our fundraiser on Wednesday 23rd March from 7.30 – 9.30pm.
Thankyou to everyone for coming and for your generous donations.
Thank you Mothers Milk.
Fiona’s 100 km Challenge.
On 25th September 2016 Fiona ran half of the 100 km from Luta Ba Futuru in Same to Dili the capital of Timor-Leste. This trip takes 5 or 6 hours in a car on a good day.
Fiona was running to raise money but also to highlight just how difficult is is to get around Timor-Leste due to the roads, the terrain and the remoteness of the rural areas where 70% of the population live.
She hopes to show just how difficult delivering services is in this environment and how crucial safe reliable, safe transport is for the people who work there delivering the community development and health care vital for these people’s lives.
